**Employment terms**: - **We do not support LMIA**: - Able to work from **Monday to Friday**: - Able to work either **7 am - 12 pm** or **12 pm - 5:30 pm**: - Working in 3-5 program, before/after school age care, or break coverage **The qualifications**: - Must have "BC ECE Assistant certificate" - Must be minimum 19 years old - Criminal Record Check - 3 professional references - Immunization record **Responsibilities**: - Daily set-up and clean-up - Provide strong & direct supervision to children - Ensure the health and safety of the children - Work as part of the team, which includes children, their parents, and the centre staff members, using the philosophy of the centre - Give and take direction while making informed decisions in a fast-paced environment - Participate in team meetings and professional development days - Communicate effectively with parents and staff - Maintain a safe, and positive learning environment for all children and their families Value and nurture the differences among all learners **Job Type**: Part-time Part-time hours: 25 per week **Salary**: From $17.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site parking Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - Monday to Friday Licence/Certification: - BC ECE Assistant certificate (required) Work Location: In person
