The Branch Manager is responsible for managing the activities of office staff, warehouse employees and drivers for their assigned location. This individual is the primary driver of customer service, operational performance and cost control and works closely with the outside sales department to grow the business to acceptable margin levels. The Branch Manager ensures compliance with company processes and procedures, maintains a safe and clean working environment, and ensures the upkeep and maintenance of all company assets.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work with outside sales to assess local market conditions, identify opportunities;
- Work with your sales team to develop and execute a sales plan in a local territory to meet/exceed sales objectives;
- Conduct weekly sales meetings with staff to provide information on customer service, slow-moving inventory and out-of-stock items;
- Achieve company goals for truck sales and profitability;
- Ability to analyze an income statement and react to maintain the monthly and annual budget;
- Effectively communicate business metrics and progress toward goals to motivate performance of direct reports;
- Ability to direct and adjust as needed all operational aspects, including warehouse operations, inventory control, and customer service, human resources, administration, trucking and sales;
- Comply with and enforce all company guidelines as defined in the company handbook and through other forms of communication;
- You are a leader in safety and ensure all associates follow established requirements. Lead by example, be a strong advocate for, report and resolve safety issues. Require all to use appropriate PPE and follow requirements;
- Ultimately responsible for the branch's inventory;
- Manage the branch to achieve fill rate and days in stock targets;
- Resolve customer service issues as well as employee engagement issues;
- Adhere to high ethical and business standards;
- Keep up to date with the competitive situation in your market;
- Continually train all employees to improve them and the branch's operations;
- Be able to identify areas for improvement within your establishment;
- Share knowledge with other branches as well as head office staff on best practices, competitive issues and other business opportunities;
- Ensure customer returns, credits and warranties are processed within 24 hours;
- You are responsible for accounts receivable related tasks, including assisting with collections and communicating with accounts receivable and sales staff for assistance with collections issues and discrepancies;
- Full responsibility for P&L and its EBITDA;
- Responsible for all aspects of branch activity;
- Create an environment in which employees must commit to being the best;
- Any other related tasks may be assigned to meet business needs.

**QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS**
- Experience in team and/or business management (required);
- Experience in retail product sales, in the trailer, automobile and/or tire parts sector and/or in distribution centers (asset);
- Strong communication skills throughout the organizational chain, as well as with suppliers and customers;
- Excellent command of French and English (oral and written) with the view that you will have to work closely with the staff of the Dexter Head Office which is located in the United States;
- Computer knowledge required, mastery of MS Office suite software;
- Great ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment;
- Motivated individual with strong leadership skills;
- Indispensable autonomy, meticulousness and great attention to detail and a job well done;
- Problem-solving skills and excellent customer service skills;
- Must be reliable, responsible, have good judgment and a great sense of discretion;
- Have the ability to work independently with little direct supervision;
