Fort McMurray, Canada APE Maintenance Ltd Full time

**Local Position Shop: Camp/Flights/LOA are **_**NOT **_**provided**

**Shift**: 6 days on 6 Days off ( 12 hours).

**Primary Functions**:
In general, but not limited to:

- Assisting trades personnel with their daily tasks
- Washing equipment, cleaning tools, sweeping floors, assisting other personnel in the field and shop setting.
- general spotter duties, processing of recyclable materials and general cleanup of waste management yard
- Operating forklift as required
- Heavy Lifting of items that are 50lbs or less.
- Working in extreme outdoor conditions when necessary (wet/cold/hot/dry).
- Communicate updates to supervisor to ensure goals are met;
- Report all incidents, damage and near misses immediately;
- Other duties as assigned.

**Critical Qualifications & Skills**:

- High School diploma or GED
- Previous field/site labour experience is considered an asset;
- Possession of a valid driver's license;
- CSTS09/OSSA/BSO/CSO;
- Valid certificates: Forklift, Fall protection, Elevated Work Platform, Basic Rigging
- Proven safety training and exceptional safety record.
- Able to work independently and as part of a professional maintenance team
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
