**Responsibilities**:

- Management and coordination of the upkeep, cleanliness and presentation of the property’s facilities, communal spaces, and grounds including landscaping and snow removal.
- Perform repairs such small motors, machinery, vehicles
- Maintains accurate & up-to-date maintenance records
- Performs general caretaking and housekeeping functions in department buildings
- Performs any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Participates in safety initiative’s

**Requirements**:

- Able to work and accomplish tasks without direct supervision;
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s license
- Able to plan and organize work efficiently and effectively;
- Able to perform physical work including bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling and lifting up to (50lbs);
- Demonstrated high degree of autonomy, discretion and dependability
- Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
- Successful Completion of Canadian Criminal Record check

This position does not require a trade; however they will need to have some working knowledge of engines and a variety of tools. Preference will be given to independent contractors, however all applicants will be considered. The starting salary for this position is **$41,600/year**.
