**Responsibilities**
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Utilize hand tools and welding equipment to repair or assemble components as needed.
- Operate heavy equipment safely while conducting repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Work on farm machinery and other diesel-powered vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs, repairs performed, and any additional recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and service quality within the dealership.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in automotive repair or a related field, with a focus on diesel engines preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues accurately.
- Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and welding techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to diesel technology are advantageous.

Pay: $38.00-$55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
