Due to our tremendous growth, we are seeking an experienced **Manager, Corporate Communications** to join our team in this **new** opportunity and make an immediate impact. This role can be based at either our Vancouver or Toronto Head Office (on-site position).
**Job Overview**:
The Manager, Corporate Communications will be primarily responsible for creating, implementing, managing and advancing public relations, brand and internal communications efforts. In addition, the Manager plays a strong role in contributing to the development of various internal and external communications including all-employee newsletters, new initiative communications, blogs, corporate website content, press releases and partner communications.
Overall, this role effectively communicates the purpose, distinctiveness, and culture of 123Dentist to targeted audiences and monitors results, helping to build the company’s profile and reputation
**Responsibilities and Duties**:
- You will proactively seek stories, influencers and events within the business and develop compelling content to showcase the Company aligning with our communicate style.
- Lead the development of Employee and Partner Communications under the direction of the VP of Human Resources
- Develop, contribute, and edit copy for Internal All-Employee Newsletter.
- Oversee design of selected internal communications for Town Halls and other departmental meetings
- Provides corporate leadership on all internal and external communications
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Collaborate with internal departments and manage agency partners to secure resources and ensure materials are in line with 123Dentist brand guidelines and reinforce a cohesive brand identity.
- Keep abreast of the competitive marketplace and industry trends.
- Other duties as assigned
**Education, Credentials, Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications or public relations, marketing, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in public relations or communications; dental experience is an asset.
**Required Skills & Abilities**:
- Superb verbal and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated ability to build and maintain quality relationships.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with ability to present complex information simply and in an engaging manner; strong attention to detail is required.
- You’re a compelling storyteller who can communicate in concise and inspiring ways. You’re experienced at content creation and copywriting; Versatile in writing skills - editorial, technical, and marketing copywriting.
- Writing for the web - SEO knowledge is helpful.
- Strong organizational, creative, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledgeable about social media platforms, posting, and reporting.
- Familiarity with crisis communication is an asset.
- Strong project management skills and a proven ability to manage complex projects end-to-end.
- Strong business acumen, analytical abilities, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Skilled and effective cross-functional collaborator and meeting facilitator.
- Advanced Microsoft capabilities including Word, PPT and Excel; experience with team communication platforms such as MS Teams and facilitating online meetings.
