Start Date: January 6th Application Deadline: 10/18/2024 Reporting to the PB Senior Manager this role contributes to the overall success of the Private Banking - Operations, Sales Support & Projects team ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures. **Is this role right for you? In this role, you will**: - Assist the PB Senior Manager working on business initiatives by conducting research and analysis, accurately and clearly defining user requirements and processes, and liaising with applicable users and stakeholders. - Actively participates in the development and maintenance of dashboard reporting for non-financial data (e.g., training, client and employee surveys, referrals), generating related insights. - Support the creation and maintenance of project, learning and resource centre documents, tracking updates and ensuring future sustainability and usability. - Provide business support by responding to ad hoc queries, providing guidance to user process, and assisting with the implementation of process enhancements. - Ensuring manager is kept informed, and that problems and issues are escalated appropriately. - Provide post implementation project/dashboard support ensuring knowledge transfer is transition successfully to the day-to-day support team by way of documenting process, performing demonstration and training. - Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. - Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. - Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment. **Do you have the skills and requirements that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We’d love to work with you if**: - Very good interpersonal and communication skills in order to work effectively with end users and members of the department and team. - Excellent command of Power BI. - Experience in data science and generating data insights. - Works well under time constraints and can prioritize competing tasks appropriately.
