We are looking to hire Full-Time Production / Relief Machine Operator to join our production team in our London, Ontario facility

This is a full-time production role that provides Relief Machine Operator backup when needed.
- Equipment set up and troubleshooting adjustments, to keep products within standard and to keep all the lines running at or above required performance.
- Maintaining the required hygiene standards of the equipment and the facility, consistent with GMP standards and Master Sanitation Schedules.
- Removing waste from the production areas as needed.
- Safe use, storage, and maintenance of all company supplied cleaning equipment hand tools and materials.
- Supporting Setup Support, contract cleaning and maintenance services when necessary.
- Maintaining all BRC audit paperwork and other required documentation as may be required.
- Liaising with appropriate staff throughout the shift to ensure continuous process and quality standards.
- Supporting line staff on day-to-day basis for general troubleshooting/problem-solving/conflict resolution.
- Adhering to safety, quality and performance standards.
- Supporting training and continuous learning activities within the department.
- Responsible to practice the 5 steps of cleaning at all times
- Start and operate all equipment within the department assigned, however, Critical Equipment such as the VRT and Abrigo robotic cutters will be handled by the Maintenance department.
- Product changeovers on all equipment not classified as CRITICAL by operations.
- Work efficiently and be sure that changeovers are smooth with mínimal downtime and all time accounted for.

**Position Requirements**:

- Chemical knowledge and comfortable working with exposure to cold temperatures
- Ability to work independently, well organized, effective judgment
- Mechanical aptitude is a requirement
- Accountable for the Master Sanitation Schedule
- Excellent attendance record and demonstrated reliability
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, climb stairs, navigate around equipment, and work with a sense of urgency
- Cooperative and works well with others, strong communicator
- Setup and changeover experience is an asset
- Previous experience as a machine or set up operator in a continuous process manufacturing environment, preferably food or pharmaceutical is an asset

What we provide:
Wage Rate: When working as **Machine Operator**

Probationary Rate (70 Shifts) $ 22.74

Full wage after 70 Shifts $25.27

When working in G**eneral Production**

Probationary rate (70 shifts) $18.83

Full wage after 70 shifts $20.92

**This position offers extended health benefits, as well as company contribution pension plan**

**Machine operator shifts will be prioritized and backfilled with Production roles.**
