**What are we looking for?**

Our **Waterloo **office is looking for an **Assistant Documentation Technician **ready to join our growing operation in Canada to assist our general drafting group with the design and delivery of Environmental projects using the latest version of AutoCAD.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Communicating and operating in a professional and courteous manner with team members and internal clients.
- Assisting in the preparation of CADD drawings using established drafting standards. Examples of work product include site plans, cross sections, contour and data box figures, as-built drawings, and sketches for presentation in reports, proposals, statements of qualifications, and meetings.
- Participating in a team environment.
- Product quality control with adherence to company standards.
- Performing other administrative and technical project duties as required.

**Your Skills, Competencies and Qualifications**:

- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or similar with a great knowledge of CAD
- New graduate or minimum 6 months to 1 year experience or more.
- Proficient with AutoCAD, Adobe Acrobat
- Well rounded computer and software experience including the Microsoft suite of products; other software experience would be considered an asset such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Map, ArcGIS, gINT
- Proven organizational and time management abilities
- Proven ability to work well both independently and as a member of a team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to meet challenging deadlines
- Sound judgment and decisiveness
