**General Construction Laborer / Driver**

HOW TO JOIN OUR TEAM:
This position is for a hard-working and capable general construction labour ideally looking to gain entry-level experience in residential construction - renovations and new builds. We are looking for a driver who can help pick up and deliver materials, and someone who can assist with entry-level tasks. The role is full-time with 32 hours or more and is from Monday to Friday.

This is a permanent, full-time position with benefits. Health benefits are available after 3 months and RRSP contributions after 6 months.

To qualify for the role, you will need the following qualifications:

- Have a valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle (a truck is an asset).
- You will be traveling and assisting at our job sites - we have project locations throughout Metro Vancouver.
- Must be a resident of Canada for at least 1 year.
- High school diploma.
- Basic carpentry knowledge is preferred.
- Own steel toed boots or shoes, and your own tools are an asset.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Sound judgement with the ability to take direction and work without supervision.
- Must be fit, healthy and able to lift and carry heavy items.
- Good communication and listening skills.
- Positive can-do attitude, open to learning.
- Punctual
- Highly motivated self-starter who works well in a team environment and independently.

ASSETS
- Previous experience and interests in construction is ideal.
- Experience with Procore Construction Management Software
- Readiness and initiative to learn and grow.

EDUCATION
- Minimum of high school diploma
