The focus includes making the production process safe, environmentally compliant, inclusive, productive, and competitive, while delivering excellence in quality to our customers. **Responsibilities**: - Manage manufacturing-related projects - Provide production support - scheduling, theory of constraint, budget & forecast, crew empowerment, defect analysis, core proficiency definition, make/buy evaluation, benchmarking analysis. - Identify and prioritize process improvement projects - lean manufacturing, engineering economic analysis, process mapping, root cause analysis, statistical methods, six sigma and time studies. - Lead operations improvement - ergonomic & human factor, operations plans, recovery planning, volume planning, and capital planning. - Facilitate system integration - Value Stream Analysis, Facility Layouts, Production Systems Design, Manufacturing Process Design, Systems Thinking, Facilities Planning, and Requirements. - Manage CAPEX, Cost Out, industrial maintenance, and process improvement initiatives. - Oversee the collection of data to increase standardization and evaluate workflows to improve safety and efficiency. **Qualifications**: - BS in Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering - Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification - 5+ years of experience working directly with manufacturing in a production environment. - Demonstrated ability in manufacturing and/or facilities planning. - Factory flow, process modeling and simulations experience - Experience leading continuous improvement and value stream mapping events. - Strong analytic skills and a high degree of proficiency in analytics. - Exceptional with Excel and manual data analysis - Excellent Interpersonal Communication Skills and Self-Starter **Preferred Qualifications**: - Operations Management, Construction Management, MSE and/or MBA - Transformer Manufacturing Experience - Project Management Certification (PMP) - Six Sigma Black Belt Certification - Experience transitioning development to production - Strong teaming skills - Experience with manufacturing organizations and/or supply chain - Hands-on experience with materials and manufacturing processes
