- _ You are excited to own “all the words” for a fast growing marketing agency
- You likely have 5 - 7 years of writing experience preferably in the B2C space. You’ve written blogs, conversion rate optimized website copy, you’ve A/B tested headlines, you’ve dug deep into keyword data and love trying to figure out what compels people to buy a product/service. Bonus points if you’ve worked in the skilled trades, real estate or construction sector ;)
- You are innovative and creative, with a logical and methodical approach to problem solving
- You are process-driven, always looking for ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- You possess strong project management skills; you are organized and articulate with impeccable attention to detail
- You are comfortable working in a very fast-paced, complex, yet dynamic work environment
- You are able to multitask on a variety of different projects and set expectations with strong time management skills

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**

- Create compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience
- Plan and write content for site pages, marketing materials, ads, and blog articles
- Produce thought leading content to support internal and client based marketing initiatives in the form of blogs, videos, etc.
- Use SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website
- Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content
- Proofread content for errors and inconsistencies
- Edit and polish existing content to improve readability

**_Communications Strategy: _**:

- _ Plan, develop and manage the implementation of marketing and communications strategies for clients in order to ensure that they meet and exceed the business goals established within the contract/proposal

- Determine metrics, measure impact and perform analysis to improve KPIs

- Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content
- Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels
- Collaborate with designers to create a social media calendar
- Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends
- Attend events and produce live social media content
- Join social media groups and professional platforms to discuss industry-related topics
- Review analytics and create reports on key metrics

**_Corporate Communications: _**:

- _ Identify and capitalize on opportunities to promote and positively represent the 44 North organization through internal and external communication
- Seek new methods and creative strategies to increase internal and external awareness of key events and changes in the organization including the launch of new services, special events, and other topics of interest

- _ Coordinate with all team members and partners to ensure all project and campaign milestones and timelines are met
- Collaborate with team members to understand business objectives, targets and oversee the development and execution of all marketing activities to deliver strong results
