**Role Description**

RIMS Transport, located in Hamilton, ON is seeking a Full-Time Local Flatbed Dispatcher to join our team. The Flatbed Dispatcher will be responsible for dispatching, coordinating, and monitoring the safe and efficient transportation of steel products. This is an on-site role that involves working in a team environment under pressure to ensure customer satisfaction.

**Qualifications**
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) to interact with drivers, customers, freight coordinators, and management
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to ensure timely and accurate delivery schedules
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with experience in transportation management systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent knowledge of transportation safety standards, provincial regulations, and industry requirements
- 2-3 years of previous dispatching experience in the transportation industry
- Familiarity with GPS/Navigation Systems

Knowledge of Hours of Service and Load Securement regulations would be an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
