**The Calgary Jewish Academy**

The Calgary Jewish Academy is seeking a dedicated and caring **Childcare Worker**.
- Ensure the safety and overall well-being of all children in care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate, inclusive, and engaging activities and circle times
- Support the daily routines of our Early Years education program
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of child growth and development
- Actively participate in all aspects of the program, including physical activities
- Be prepared to respond appropriately in emergency situations
- Adhere to all licensing regulations set out by the Province of Alberta
- Create a nurturing and loving environment for all children
- Assist with cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a tidy classroom environment
- Communicate effectively and professionally with both children and adults

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Minimum Level 1 Early Childhood Educator certification (Province of Alberta)
- Valid Standard First Aid certification
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search (dated within the last 6 months)
- Minimum of one year experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting (an asset)
- Strong awareness and sensitivity to working in diverse, multicultural, and inclusive environments
