Total Medical, a division of the Total Group of Companies, is an industrial service company specializing in fire, rescue, medical, and safety services. We are based out of Red Deer, but we service all of AB, BC, SK, and ONT.

Total Medical is actively seeking 2 **bi-lingual** First Aid Attendants for a construction project in Montreal, QC. Project terms are as follows:

- Seasonal contract position
- 7 days a week (12-hour days)
- Estimated 6-week duration
- Fly in / out
- $20-$23 per hour, depending on experience
- Subsistence of $60.00 per night away
- Flights and accommodations will be provided

Under the direct supervision of the Project manager, daily task and activities include but are not limited to:

- Providing support to ensure site personnel work in a safe and healthy manner
- Collaborating with site management and other relevant personnel to develop and implement Emergency Response Plans
- Providing onsite medical care and first aid treatment to injured and/or ill workers
- Maintaining records of all medical treatment provided; including nature and severity of injury/illness, treatments administered, and/or referrals made
- Assisting with set up and inspection of safety equipment and PPE
- Assisting with general site cleanup duties
- Detail oriented
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow directions

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

- ** Be fluent in both English & French** (our company speaks English but the site speaks French)
- Authorized to work in Canada and possess a valid SIN
- Be 19 years of age or older
- Have a valid driver’s licence with a minimum of 3 years driving experience
- Be able to produce a satisfactory driving abstract
- Be physically fit with the ability to lift 50 lbs
- Be willing and able to travel out of town
- Be willing and able to work outdoor, in varying weather conditions
- Be able to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Have previous experience in a similar role

To be selected for this role, you **MUST **have the following certifications:

- First Aid
- Possess standard safety certifications needed for site locations
- Other certifications to be discussed as new project requirements arise
