Purpose
The Audit Department is the 3rd Line of Defense and plays a key role in the internal control system of the Bank. Its mandate is to provide independent and objective assurance over the design and effectiveness of internal controls to mitigate risks and to provide advisory services designed to improve the Bank's operations.
The objective of this position is to fulfill a Senior Manager role within a team of IT audit professionals to assess the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls relating to Data Risk, Data Management, Data Platforms, Business Applications, Third Party arrangements, IT projects and related processes supporting businesses throughout Bank.
Key Job Accountabilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Assist in managing the planning, execution, and reporting of assigned audits in accordance with department standards.
Skills, Experiences and Functional Competencies
We would love to work with you if you have:
Strong understanding of Data Risk and Data Management concepts including relevant audit expertise in this area.
Strong technical understanding of various Data platforms and evolving technologies including cloud computing, data lakes, big data and agile
development methodologies.
Experienced in using data analytics to perform audit procedures in the technology and data space.
Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills and experience developing relationships with our internal stakeholders.
Motivated, self-starter with a passion to learn and embracing new challenges.
Strong project management skills and organizational skills.
Excellent analytical skills, ability to problem solve and multi-task.
Education & Other Requirements
Designations in Data Management (DAMA, CMMI, CIMP, DCAM), expertise in the use of data analytics in audit engagements and / or
Undergraduate degree and Audit, IT Audit or Information Security professional designationsuch as CPA, CISA, CISM, CSX, CISSP,etc.
Proficiency in Spanish would also be an asset.
