**BI / Swim Coach Needed - North Vancouver**

Posting on behalf of my clients:

- We are looking for a swim coach ideally with behaviour interventionist (BI) experience but not essential.

You would be supporting and teaching a young Autistic learner (8 year old girl) to develop her confidence and skills in the water. This learner works best 1:1 and with someone encouraging, motivating and patient. You would have the skills and experience to provide teach early swim skills, working towards her being ready to enter regular swim lessons eventually. Perhaps you are a lifeguard with BI or related experience.

This is a great opportunity for those studying Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology and other related disciplines.

Applicants must:
**Be fun and engaging**
Motivated to learn.
Be at least 19yrs old.
Have a clear criminal record check.
Be reliable.
Be willing to commit to 12-months.

Sessions would take place in North Vancouver public pools (we have a letter to permit a private instructor to support this student in a public pool). **Looking for 1x 1hr swim lesson per week; ideally on weekends.**

**Compensation will be based on experience.**

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
