Originating in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1985, Sherlock Clothing is now a nation-wide company with 58 stores stretching across Atlantic Canada, Ontario and Alberta. Carrying the latest trends in men’s and women’s active and fashion forward apparel, outerwear, footwear and accessories, we’ve got a knack for tailoring specific product mixes for each location and their unique customers.

**Who are you?**
- A passionate business minded leader with a strong attention to detail
- You must have a special place in your heart for the fashion retail culture
- Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize incoming product and floor needs
- Excels in merchandising and brand appeal
- Effective communication and time management skills are a must
- Able to delegate tasks as required to improve the overall flow of product

**What will you do?**
- Leads visual merchandising strategies and ensures store has a clear visual theme and proper flow
- Identify trends and best-sellers and communicate needs with the buying team
- Efficiently process new stock, product transfers and markdowns with a sense of urgency
- Communicates with the marketing department and ensures proper marketing materials are in effect
- Inspires team with new trends and product knowledge
- Verifies vendor tags with company tags and security tags new product
- Completes all inventory documents with accuracy
- Ensures stock and product are organized and tasks are complete
- Maintains back room organization

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ottawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- visual merchandising: 2 years (preferred)
