Press Brake/laser Machine Operator

Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal plates and sheets according to blueprints and specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the dimensions and tolerances of the finished workpiece
- Select and install appropriate tooling, dies, and punches for each job
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

**Experience**:

- Min. 5 years Press Brake and Laser machine set up experience (Bystronic preferred)
- Blueprint reading, specification, and knowledge of engineered specified tolerances
- Knowledge of tooling and maintenance
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proven measurement and mathematical conversion skills including tape measures, angle gauges and calipers
- Ability to meet deadlines in a timely and efficient manner
- Must be physically fit and able to work with mínimal supervision
- Perform other duties as required
- Ability to work independently and cooperate within a team
- Ability to communicate well with others and be detailed-oriented
- Willing and able to adapt to high pace and high-pressure work environment

Pay: $28.59-$35.45 per hour
