**Childcare Bus Driver**:

- _ Safe Transportation:_ Safely operate the childcare center's bus or vehicle to transport children to and from the center, ensuring the well-being of each child during transit.
- _ Pre-Trip Inspection:_ Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- _ Adherence to Regulations:_ Strictly adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations, including ensuring that children are secured in appropriate child safety seats and seat belts.
- _ Emergency Procedures:_ Be prepared to respond to emergencies during transit, including administering first aid if necessary, and evacuate children safely in case of accidents.
- _ Communication:_ Maintain open and clear communication with parents or guardians regarding pick-up and drop-off times, and any changes or delays in the schedule.
- _ Documentation:_ Maintain accurate records of daily transportation, including attendance, mileage, and fuel usage.

**Assistant Teacher**:

- Support children’s emotional, physical, or behavioural well-being; while helping to develop their social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills.
- Maintain attendance and health and safety checks.
- Responsible for the care, hygiene, learning, developmental activities, specialized programs, and redirection of children
- Maintains classroom organization
- Engage with current and prospective parents and family members and is responsive to their needs.
- Work with professionals, such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as necessary
- Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms

**Qualifications**:

- Valid driver's license Class 5.
- Clean driving record with no history of accidents or traffic violations.
- Level 2 or 3 required
- Previous experience working in childcare.
- First aid and CPR certification
- Immunization up to date
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, patient demeanour.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate a childcare bus or vehicle.
