**PURPOSE**
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Technical Leadership**:
- Lead and mentor a team of analysts in the design and implementation of data-driven solutions, including enterprise data architecture, advanced analytics, and workflow automation.
- Provide strategic guidance on data architecture, analytics frameworks, and governance models to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant data practices. Assign data-related tasks, review analytical outputs, and ensure alignment with business objectives, data governance standards, and industry best practices.
**Data Analytics and Automation**:
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Data Analytics and Cloud Data architecture.
- Lead the team in shaping and executing data analytics, data strategy, and architecture initiatives, while driving the migration of data and analytics workloads to the Azure Data Lakehouse. Leverage tools such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks to deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions that enable advanced analytics and business intelligence.
- Maintain expertise in cloud technologies and collaboration tools, including M365, Power BI, Dataverse, Azure and others.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported on solutions, ensuring effective and timely resolution.
**Reporting and Documentation**:
- Oversee the design and development of dashboards and scorecards to report on service delivery metrics, ensuring technical accuracy and usability.
- Guide the team in preparing and delivering periodic management reports, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and project goals.
- Ensure comprehensive and accurate documentation of data solutions and enhancements.
**Business Analysis**:
- Conduct business analysis to understand organizational needs and identify opportunities for process improvements and data solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with data solutions and strategic objectives.
- Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams to ensure requirements are accurately captured and addressed.
**Collaboration and Support**:
- Guide the team in gathering and analyzing data from internal and external sources, including vendor partners, to evaluate performance.
- Support the technical measurement of key delivery metrics across various functional areas, including vendor SLA and internal OLA measures.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses as required by the Manager, Service Management.
Any other job-related duties and/or projects that may be assigned.
**Minimum Requirements**
**Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Education**
- Bachelor's degree or higher required from an accredited institution, Computer Science, Data Analytics/Science (preferred), Business, or Engineering
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a data analytics and automation role preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data, and experience with data analysis and reporting from different systems and monitoring tools
- Demonstrated advanced proficiency in M365, Data visualization, Data management Cloud technologies
