La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries is currently seeking positive, enthusiastic and results driven **Visual Merchandiser for our London & Kitchener location. (One Position)**

**ROLE DESCRIPTION**
**The role of the visual merchandiser includes but is not limited to the following**:

- Execute corporate changes in a planned and timely fashion
- Execute the floor moves with warehouse assistance or VCA
- Unpacking, pricing and display of new, incoming accessories preserving the vignette integrity with new product
- Regular vignette maintenance - replacing light bulbs, price tag maintenance etc.
- Replenishing of core accessories through company procedures
- Ensure pricing of accessories is current through regular tag maintenance
- Initiate additional product transfers to maximize sales floor.
- Execute instructions for all promotions
- Perform tasks that may include any request that may involve the improvement of the safety of our customers and staff
- Complete markdowns on accessories
- Supports the Store Manager in the outgoing and incoming product transfers for the truck
- Inventory management of all incoming and outgoing products. Ensures inventory adjustments are completed as necessary.
- Communicates with the Purchasing Department as needed.
- All garbage is prepared for recycling and readied for the company transfer truck
- Ensure the backroom is clean and swept, garbage removed, all equipment is unobstructed and complies with the labour laws, and equipment stored properly
- Notify warehouse of extra duties required for transfer day

**What is required?**
- Your own reliable transportation, and a valid G class driving license and personal automobile insurance.
- Computer skills, the ability to read, write and communicate effectively
- **Ability to lift 25+ lbs, and be on your feet moving in a showroom & warehouse for 7+ hrs day.**:

- Experience in retail visual merchandising is an asset
