**Physician - Head Injury Program**

**Lifemark Physiotherapy Keefer Place** is currently seeking an experienced **Physician** to join our Head Injury Team. Our well established interdisciplinary team consists of dedicated Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Kinesiologists, and a Pharmacist. **With Lifemark Health you will**:

- Be an active participant in directly contributing to our Head Injury team of experienced professionals
- Collaborate closely with a strong interdisciplinary team
- Comprehensive review of pertinent medical information, detailed physical examination, with a focus on neurological signs and symptoms
- Identification of rehabilitation or return to work medical restrictions and limitations, and implications on activities of daily living
- Formulate comprehensive, evidence-based, patient-centered therapeutic plans for clients and work closely with our Pharmacotherapeutic Consultant to implement these
- Communicate with referral sources and external medical professionals as required
- Engage in continuous learning and skills development
- Clarification of relevant medical issues including comorbid conditions
- Recommendations for further investigations or interventions when appropriate to clarify medical issues
- Provision of clear treatment recommendations
- Educating the Injured Worker about the relevant medical issues.

**Qualifications**:

- Doctor of Medicine, licensed to practice in British Columbia
- In good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia
- Two years of experience working with clients with Head Injury is an asset (or an interest in this area of practice)
- Experience in the management of complex medication regimens and tapers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with WorkSafeBC clients is an asset
- Current personal liability & malpractice insurance
