**Job Type**: Permanent, Full-time
**Hours (OVERNIGHTS)**: 9:30pm - 6:30am (flexibility as needed), Monday - Friday, Weekends as needed
**Work Location**: Onsite (Milton, ON)
**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Support the Environmental Control Manager in developing departmental strategies, KPIs, and action plans aligned with company goals.
- Possess strong knowledge of all sanitation processes, responsibilities, and expectations within the department.
- Follow and enforce all safety, sanitation, and food safety procedures and protocols.
- Ensure daily sanitation tasks are completed according to the established schedule and frequency.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of hand tools and basic troubleshooting to support cleaning and sanitation tasks.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and train Sanitation team members to ensure high performance, consistency, and accountability.
- Proactively identify and address deviations by developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Oversee all sanitation activities in accordance with SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation records; ensure the facility remains in an audit-ready state at all times.
- Identify and report equipment issues; collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to address repairs or recommend improvements.
- Conduct visual inspections, ATP and allergen swabbing, chemical testing, and 5S audits to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
- Maintain and improve compliance with regulatory and company standards, including WHMIS, LOTO, HACCP, GMPs, and BRC/CFIA food safety guidelines.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the sanitation department to enhance safety, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Other tasks as assigned.

**What We're Looking For**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of Food Safety and Sanitation experience, preferably in a CPG or food manufacturing environment.
- Strong BRC (or similar GFSI) knowledge or experience.
- Strong knowledge of WHMIS, Chemical Handling, HACCP, GMP, OHSA and regulatory requirements.

**Bonus Points If You Have**:

- Dessert Manufacturing Facility or Bakery experience.
