**Overview**
**Duties**
- Assist dentists during various procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and available.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Provide excellent patient care by ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns during treatments.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including presentation and/or proposed treatment and medical history.
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow within the office.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the dental operatory.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Certified Dental Assistant.
- Familiar with dental software.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
- Experience in orthodontics/Invisalign/Implants is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- B.C. Certification in dental assisting is required.
