Marketing Curation Coordinator

Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, the Marketing Curation Coordinator adds value by providing strategic, data-driven book content curation for web and app platforms with the purpose of reaching KPIs related to audiobook listener behavior.

Recognizing trends, curating content for different audiences, and leveraging data to understand listening patterns are all key components of this role. The Marketing Curation Coordinator will strive to positively impact department and company goals through the testing and implementation of creative and engaging book content.

**Responsibilities**:

- Planning and implementing all customer-facing audiobook merchandising including featured book lists, sales, certain app and web graphics, and promoted content
- Maintaining a strong understanding of publisher agreements, KPIs, and other considerations that directly impact the success of our curation
- Segmenting content recommendations to introduce different customer groups to the personalized book content
- Designing and running a variety of experiments and split tests
- Utilizing resources to maintain an understanding of industry trends
- Supporting new company initiatives as needed, including various external promotions and global PR opportunities
- Working directly with publishing partners to run discount promotions on audiobooks
- Measuring and monitoring content effectiveness, and communicating how content strategy is contributing to business goals
- Interpreting and reacting to metrics to help drive site content strategies

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, English, or other book/marketing-related program OR 2+ years experience in marketing or communications
- Passion for books of all types, and knowledge of the book industry OR showing a strong interest in learning about the book industry
- Track record of success in driving engagement with customer communities
- The ability to interpret trends and pick up on publisher cues that help predict upcoming bestsellers
- Strong copywriting skills
- Experience in B2B relations and working with vendor partners is an asset
- Social media fluency (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
- Extremely well organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Experience in SQL or another database querying system preferred
- Proficiency with Photoshop an asset
