Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Technical Contracts Coordinator handles new procurement and service opportunities. This role involves preparing, analyzing, negotiating, and revising contracts and purchase orders for goods and services, including equipment, materials, supplies, products, and onsite support. The coordinator works closely with suppliers and other teams at Mobile Valve to ensure excellent customer service on both large-scale projects and smaller purchase orders. They interpret customer contract requirements to meet technical, monetary, and product specifications and identify solutions in product and supplier selection, as well as service offerings.
**Responsibilities**:
- Handle customer proposals (RFQ, RFP), address inquiries, prepare and revise contracts/purchase orders, and ensure contract execution aligns with company policy
- Work with the industrial service team to maintain preventative maintenance schedules, size new and replacement valves, and estimate on-site and in-shop service work
- Process warranty claims, search for new tenders, identify business opportunities, handle equipment and supplies acquisition and distribution, and provide accurate information to suppliers and customers.
- Oversee contract administration, maintain detailed files, create quotations, process documents, arrange meetings and team activities, and adhere to health and safety policies and quality management procedures.
- Participate in trade fairs and promotional events and obtain necessary security clearances.
**Qualifications**:
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration or relevant work experience
- Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and respond to urgent requests
- Independent and self-driven with strong computer literacy
- Technical aptitude and experience in a fast-paced service environment are assets
