**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Reporting to the operations manager and collaborating with other supervisors, the incumbent in this position will have the following main responsibilities:

- Supervise, lead provide coaching and training to the Saskatoon warehouse and office employees
- Create and approve work schedules, overtime and vacations of the warehouse and office staff to meet work requirements
- Participate in the hiring of warehouse and office staff
- Provide ongoing feedback on performance expectations and initiates discipline if that becomes necessary
- Ensure that corporate policies and procedures are understood, appropriately applied, and that any negative consequences of an existing policy are brought to the attention of Congebec Management
- Oversee the proper flow of documents from customers, the office and warehouse
- Investigate corrections and/or adjustments to customer accounts
- Ensures that issues are identified promptly and brought to the attention of the appropriate parties for resolution between the office, warehouse and customers
- Communicate with customer(s) as required and periodically to ensure their satisfaction with the services that are being provided to them
- Make recommendations to improve warehouse and office processes and actively encourage staff to do the same
- Audit the accuracy of invoices and statements to ensure that information as to rates, quantities and extensions are accurate and makes necessary adjustments to correct information
- Ensure compliance with policies,_ _procedures, health and safety initiatives,_ _standards_ _and_ _regulations_ _in_ _force_ _in_ _the warehouse_ _and_ _actively participate_ _in_ _improving_ _those (OHS,_ _BRC, HACCP, etc.)
- Participate_ _in the management of_ _disciplinary_ _files_ _and_ _complaints_ _in_ _collaboration with the management and human resources services
- Conduct_ _accident investigations_ _and_ _participate_ _in analysis and support implementation of corrective measures.
- Proactively identify_ _problems_ _and implement_ _solutions with the team
- Provide_ _prompt,_ _efficient_ _and_ _courteous service_ _to clients
- Communicate relevant_ _information_ _to the_ _other_ _shift(s) (as applicable)
- Check_ _receipts_ _and_ _shipments_ _to_ _ensure_ _accuracy
- Be an active user in researching and troubleshooting information in the WMS to assist operators
- Actively participate_ _in objective delivery and work on the continuous improvement of performance
- Approve_ _employees’_ _hours_ _assigned_ _to the shift
- Work_ _in_ _collaboration with_ _other_ _team_ _members across the facility
- Carry out_ _all_ _other_ _related tasks
- Perform any other related tasks.

**General skills**:
**EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE**
- College diploma.
- Between three (3) and five (5) years of relevant experience in warehousing or any related field.
- Experience in employee management and supervision.
- Or equivalent combination of work and education.
