**About Our Client**:
**About the role**:
The Chief Estimator will manage the estimation team and be responsible for developing business relationships with new customers, contractors, and suppliers. They must show initiative and be able to work independently with minimum supervision.

**Responsibilities**:

- Management of the estimation team;
- Develop business relationships with new customers, subcontractors and suppliers;
- Supervise and participate in project bid closures;
- Visit of projects for submission during calls for tenders;
- Negotiations with subcontractors / suppliers;
- Other related tasks (if applicable).
- Have a minimum of five to ten (5 - 10) years of relevant experience in the construction of the I.C.I. sectors of the Ottawa-Gatineau region;
- Have a sense of organization and attention to detail;
- Have a good team spirit and collaboration;
- Demonstrate professionalism;
- Be able to manage several files at the same time;
- College diploma in architecture or civil engineering or other equivalent studies;
- Be perfectly bilingual (French and English) (spoken and written);
- Be able to read plans and quotes;
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Knowledge of estimation software (Geomensura, Planswift and/or others);
- Valid driver's license and vehicle

**Salary**: $100,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
