Overnight Caregiver

Seeking a professional caregiver for an overnight shift every Saturday, 12hrs overnight as relief for a live in caregiver.

**Overview**
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position is ideal for individuals who have experience in assisted living, hospice care, or home care settings and possess a strong desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering meaningful relationships.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior to appropriate personnel.
- Assist with medication reminders and adherence as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Provide specialized care for individuals with conditions such as dementia or disabilities.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in assisted living, hospice care, nursing home, or home care settings is preferred.
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility needs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of clients.
