**Resource Geologist**

Alamos Gold’s **Young-Davidson** is a low-cost, long-life operation and one of Canada’s largest underground gold mines. It is located near the town of Matachewan centrally located between Timmins, Kirkland Lake, North Bay and Sudbury, Ontario. The 2020 completion of a highly automated, lower mine expansion has resulted in Young-Davidson increasing production and generating strong free cash flow. With a large Mineral Reserve base, it will serve as Alamos’ foundation for growth for many years to come. **Primary Responsibilities**:

- Validate geological and structural mapping and measurements;
- Create and maintain 3D geological and structural models;
- Advise and assist in database administration and QAQC procedures;
- Development and maintenance of resource models integrating geological and structural controls for mineralization;
- Create Mineral Resource Estimates;
- Conduct and supervise Mine Reconciliations and manage Mine Reconciliations Database;
- Generate exploration targets for resource growth; and
- Assist in planning and execution of diamond drilling programs.

**Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience**:

- BSc in Geology from a recognized Canadian University or equivalent;
- Demonstrated proficiency and experience in Statistics and Geostatistical analyses;
- In depth knowledge of Structural Geology and its critical role in the Underground Mining Environment;
- Registered with APGO or able to register with APGO as a Professional Geoscientist within 1 year of hire;
- Minimum of 8 years industry experience, preferably in an underground Gold or Base metals environment;
- Experience and familiarity with NI43-101 guidelines and regulations;
- Proficiency with Vulcan or other geological modelling software;
- Exposure to Acquire software a benefit;
- Strong organization and time management skills;
- Team player; and
- Valid driver’s license.

Schedule: 4 days on, 3 days off - 10 hour shifts
