Security Response Analyst II

_BlackBerry Secure_ is a passion that runs deep throughout the company. BlackBerry's Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) is seeking a Security Response Analyst II to join our team in securing BlackBerry's product suites to protect our customers.

In this role you will:
- Investigate reports of potential vulnerabilities in BlackBerry products- Assess the impact vulnerabilities on BlackBerry products- Work with product teams to resolve vulnerability reports- Develop Proof-of-Concept (PoC) code for testing- Investigate the effectiveness of BlackBerry products against malware threats- Create rules for CylanceOPTICS to protect customers from emerging threats

Relevant skills:
- Software development with C/C++, C#, Java- Knowledge of secure coding practices- Knowledge of common classes of vulnerabilities (ie. SQLi, XSS, overflows, etc)- Knowledge of Windows, Linux and/or Mac operating systems- Experience investigating vulnerability reports and/or reporting vulnerabilities- Malware analysis- Knowledge of Mitre ATT&CK techniques- Knowledge of technologies throughout the network stack (ie. TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, TLS)

**Education**:
- Bachelor of Science with 2+ years experience, or-
- Masters of Science, or-
- 2-4 years of relevant experience- If you're passionate about security and enjoy learning about the latest emerging threats, consider joining our highly regarded PSIRT team
