Guelph, Canada Domain Logistics Full time

Under the guidance of the Transportation Manager, the Transportation Planner will support the policies and procedures of Domain Logistics and will be responsible for supporting all transportation related Scheduling, and Planning functions for the site.

SHIFT: Monday - Friday 9:30 am - 6:00 pm

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Transportation planning and supporting of daily/ weekly routing schedules based on order deadlines, customer needs, delivery routes and truck loads.
- Routing Experience, TMS or related planning knowledge considered an asset.
- Provide order and shipping status/information updates as required (Ecommerce and Wholesale)
- Aids in completion of reporting for all outbound transportation, efficiency, and service level metrics (Ecommerce and Wholesale).
- Assist in the invoicing and reconsignment process of all outbound carrier related invoices.
- Communicate with carriers concerning invoicing questions and any billing issues. Ensure all documents are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain positive relationships with all customer service reps, vendors and carriers including addressing any inquiries, issues, and concerns.
- Ability to work independently when required, as well as being a strong Team player.
- Contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies and initiatives.
- Able to cross-train to back up other job functions relating to all aspects of the Ecommerce and Wholesale coordinating and or scheduling process
- Additional duties as assigned.

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**
- Experience in a logistics environment, experience managing Transport routing schedules and carrier performance preferred.
- WMS - Manhattan Scale experience considered an asset.
- Experience working in the Supply Chain industry (DC experience preferred).
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Software (Strong Excel and Outlook skills an asset) with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Sound Geographic knowledge of Ontario.
- Basic knowledge of billing and accounting processing.
- Ability to multi-task and effectively manage work requirements.
- Capability of working harmoniously within a team environment in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer focus with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills with carriers, clients, and internal business partners.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be extremely self-motivated and able to work under mínimal supervision.
- Desire to learn and develop for future opportunities and roles.

**Salary**: $44,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
