Orillia, Canada Couchiching Craft Brewing Co. Full time

Our retail staff must possess flexibility, diligence, and enthusiasm for the day-to-day operations of the CCBC Retail Store. Retail staff report to the Sales Coordinator to establish and execute the highest quality of retail service and brand._

Responsibilities of all full-time, part-time, and/or seasonal Retail staff include, but are not limited to:

- Daily operations of the CCBC Retail Store including all opening, and closing procedures/duties, POS (Square) management, cash outs, online and onsite retail sales order fulfillment, as required
- Assist Brewery customers in fulfilling their consumer needs through helpful, friendly and knowledgeable service with an intermediate to comprehensive understanding of our beer portfolio, a willingness to learn the brewing and production process, and the ability to recommend our portfolio (food menu items, beer, wine, and other beverage, etc.) based on customer interaction. (Comprehensive training and resources are provided).
- Maintaining all Company standards and guidelines provided by the Operations Manager and Sales Coordinator
- Experience and knowledge with the policies and Ontario alcohol service regulations (AGCO / Smart Serve)
- Handle cash/debit/credit transactions and complete end-of-day point of sale duties
- Manage retail phone and voice messaging system
- Maintain appearance and merchandising of the store: refill beer fridge, restock merch and pantry items, clean/tidy retail store (light housekeeping duties)
- the ability to work on your feet and lift 30 to 50lbs
- a friendly and engaging disposition geared towards excellent customer service

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Valid Smart Serve Certification required (for retail sale of alcohol)
- 1+ years experience in craft beer, preferably time actively spent working, volunteering and/or academically involved in the Ontario craft beverage industry an asset
- Class “G” license in good standing and transportation an asset
- Retail sales, bottle shop and/or merchandising experience an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour
