**Overview**

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated lawyer who enjoys complex legal work, has excellent drafting and analytical skills, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Represent clients in court, at hearings, and during discoveries, advocating effectively on their behalf.
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs with precision and clarity.
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on various legal issues.
- Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes efficiently and strategically.
- Work closely with other lawyers and support staff to develop and implement case strategies.
- Maintain well-organized case files and documentation for efficient access and review.
- Stay informed about developments in legislation and case law relevant to active matters.

**Qualifications**
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution.
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia.
- 10+ years of litigation experience, ideally including commercial or civil matters.
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage files independently.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
