**Job Summary**:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Summer Student to join our team for a temporary position. As a Summer Student, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in a dynamic environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist with the development and maintenance of programmimg resources and kits
- Sort & organize materials for delivery and load / unload delivery vehicle
- Perform administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and organizing documents
- Support event planning and coordination such as Take a book - Trade a book services
- Conduct research and compile reports as needed
- Collaborate with team members on special assignments
- Act as back up courier driver
**Qualifications**:
- Must be completing Grade 12 or attending a post secondary institution
- Minimum 16 years of age
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to operate office and computer equipment
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Good organizational skills and ability to maintain a tidy and clean workspace
- Ability to sort and organize deliveries while maintaining accurate records
- Possession of a valid driver license
- Physical fitness allowing lifting and moving of boxes of library materials (up to 25kg)
- A satisfactory police report and SGI driving abstract is required
This is a paid opportunity that will provide you with hands-on experience and the chance to develop your skills in a supportive work environment. Join us for a rewarding summer experience
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
