Soil Sampler

**POSITION**: SAMPLE RECEIPT AND LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

**LOCATION**: CALGARY CORE AND MATERIALS TESTING LAB, 2730 39 AVE NE

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Analyze soil and concrete samples received from field crew under the supervision of AGAT’s Geotechnical Engineer
- Collect and transport samples from field location to the lab
- Prepare and transfer samples to designated drop off locations
- Ensure samples are properly entered in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and are available to laboratory staff in a timely manner
- Ensure all sample integrity issues are properly documented and reported
- Ensure incoming non-sample deliveries are properly processed
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed
- Responsible to maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- High School Diploma
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written communication
- Class 5 Driver’s License
- Logistics experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Organizational skills
- Problem solving skills
- Customer service experience an asset
