**Job Description**:
Working out of our Vancouver office, you will mainly be responsible for estimating and
coordinating the execution of sprinkler contracts. Among other things, your responsibilities will be to:
Meet with clients to identify their needs in terms of fire sprinkler systems;
Gain new project business;
Prepare quotations in accordance with established procedures, and present them to clients;
Ensure quotations’ follow-up with clients;
Determine costs breakdown for all phases of the project, as necessary;
Prepare all documents necessary for opening contracts;
Review and interpret building plans and specifications for tender submissions;
Evaluate contract’s additional costs when applicable.
QUALIFICATIONS
College diploma in fire protection or high school diploma and equivalent relevant experience;
3 years of relevant experience in the fire protection contracting industry;
Fire Protection design/engineering background (asset);
Sound knowledge of MSOffice (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook);
Knowledge of products used in fire protection;
Knowledge of applicable Building Codes and NFPA Standards;
Valid driver’s licence;
Ability to work well independently;
Strong customer service skills.
