**Job description**
**Position**: Meat Processor.
**Job Type**: Full Time/Permanent.
**Work Location**: Nossack Fine Meats, Red Deer, 4951A 78 St, Red Deer, AB T4P1N5
**Minimum Credentials**: Grade 12 diploma.
**Experience**: Minimum 2 years preferred.
**Objective**: Create products such as sausages, hams, roast beef etc.

- Orientation includes (1-day for Orientation, 2-weeks review, 3-month review and annual review).
- **Starting Wage**:$18.00-$20.00 per hour

**Main Responsibilities**:
- Transport raw materials throughout the plant and warehouse manually, or with powered equipment.
- Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines.
- Feed and unload food processing machines.
- Clean work areas and equipment.
- Check products for basic quality defects.
- Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties.
- Follow all HACCP and Health & Safety policies and procedures.
**Qualifications**:
- Experience as a laborer in food or beverage processing is considered an asset.
- Must be able to work in a wet, refrigerated environment.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to withstand repetitive movements.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
