**Job Description**:
In collaboration with the Sales team, the Account Manager is responsible for the purchasing and trading of scrap metal products. They are also required to develop and maintain outstanding business relationships with new and current customers. This position requires a dynamic, self-starter who is able to work closely with all departments within the company, as well as customers and suppliers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage accounts for the representatives on the road.
- Add pricing, validate products, analyze receipts, perform formula calculations for pricing agreements.
- Assist in the creation of P&L and ensure account profitability tracking.
- Provide customer service, answer questions, handle complaints and prepare reports.
- Determine pricing for individual accounts, maintain in computer system and update based on market conditions.
- Coordinate deliveries with vendors and assist dispatchers with delivery and pickup of materials, equipment and containers as needed.
- Utilize knowledge of yard operations and functioning to make cost effective pricing decisions.
- Keep abreast of competitive efforts targeting our accounts. Develop strategies and actions to prevent account loss.
- Coordinate with administrative staff and sales team to ensure accurate and timely documentation of all purchase transactions.
- Perform special projects as needed.
- Create and track purchase orders from the CRM.
- Keep customer information up to date in our CRM.
- Other duties will apply.

**Qualifications**:

- Recent university graduates are welcome
- University or college degree in business, sales or marketing.
- Minimum of one year work experience in sales, marketing or customer service.
- Excellent skills with the Office Suite.
- Superior customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent math, problem solving skills.
- Some knowledge of metal alloy identification is helpful, but not required.
