**Job Description** AECOM**is currently seeking a **Graduate Transportation Modeller**based in our **Markham**, ON,** Canada office.

**The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to**:

- Preparing and contributing to transportation studies
- Analyzing transportation data and conducting/ assisting in traffic and transit analysis
- Attending and participating in client and public meetings
- Developing and managing content for presentations, reports, and proposals
- Researching industry standard / best practices
- Participating in site visits and field work
- Performing data collection and analysis
- Writing and editing technical reports
- Working with a team of transportation/traffic engineers, planners and designers to assess transportation, traffic, and parking conditions
- Attending project team meetings, as needed;
- The projects include: Transportation Master Plans, Secondary Plans, Area Studies, Environmental Assessments, Traffic Impact Studies, Parking Studies, Active Transportation and Multi-Modal Studies.

**Qualifications** Minimum Requirements**:

- A bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Transportation Engineering or Planning

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Ability to work in a team environment with strong technical writing skills
- Good communication and time management skills
- Knowledge of transport modelling related software packages e.g. EMME, VISUM, VISSIM
- Experience in computer programming languages (e.g. VBA, SQL, Python)
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office software
- Passionate about transportation and urban planning
- A positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with other
