Inside Sales Rep

Woodstock, Canada Oxford Sand and Gravel Ltd. Full time

This key position at our front desk is an important link between sales, customers, trucks, and the rest of our team. It is challenging at times, but rewarding when a good plan comes together; when you drive home over roads or past projects that you had a part in building. The seasonal nature of our business dictates fast pace and longer hours in the spring/summer/fall and slower time in the winter.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Public face of Oxford Sand and Gravel Ltd. to incoming phone calls and visitors to the office.
- Co-ordinator of aggregate trucking logistics and asphalt plant feed.
- Maintain daily records of trucking business and assist with other record keeping and administration tasks as requested.
- Inside sales representative for small projects and sales to the public.
- General customer service representative working with outside sales to ensure customers’ needs are met in an effective, timely manner.

**Key Requirements**:

- The successful applicant will be an excellent communicator, keeping information flowing
- Professional telephone manner
- Customer focused and service oriented
- Comfortable working with MS Excel and computers generally
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, multi-task environment
- Open minded, eager to learn and develop
- Conscientious attention to detail
- Bookkeeping/Accounting background an asset
