Carpenter & Handyman

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a skilled an experienced Carpenter and Handy Man to join our team.

**Job description**:
General repairs and maintenance, including painting, minor drywall, basic framing, finishing carpentry including baseboards, window frames, etc.

Additional work might include Installing wooden structures such as roofing framers, joists, partitions, rafters, patio railings, adding fittings and fixtures including door handles, hinges, locks, and closures.

Driving trucks or vans with supplies to work sites, moving furniture and equipment, climbing ladders and going into crawlspaces as needed.

**Skills and qualifications**:
Ability to use hand and power tools, including drills, saws, nail guns, chisels, and sanders, etc.

Knowledge of basic math and geometry Good sense of direction and ability to use maps or smartphone apps to find new job site.

Knowledge of basic building regulations and codes.

Ability to keep a clean job site.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 44 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 2 years (required)
