**About the position**:
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Transportation Planner’s primary responsibility is to coordinate the transportation of all inbound, outbound, direct, and stock transfer orders.

**Where you’ll work**:Edmonton, AB | 3 days per week and the remaining days can be from your home office.

**What you’ll do**:

- Manages a portfolio of carriers to arrange the transportation of all inbound, outbound, direct, or stock transfer orders.
- Responsible for safe, efficient, legal & economical operation of all transportation activities.
- Responsible for meeting customer delivery requirements in a cost-effective manner.
- Use and maintain SAP Transportation Management System (TMS) to optimize common carrier, dedicated fleet and private fleet freight orders.

**What you’ll need**:

- Post-secondary degree or 2 years of relevant work experience
- SAP experience an asset
