**Structural Truss Systems** specializes in the design, manufacturing, and transportation of custom roof trusses, floor systems, and wall panels for every size of residential, commercial, and agricultural projects. We operate out of a manufacturing facility in** Fort MacLeod, AB,**just 25 minutes west of Lethbridge, AB.

We are currently looking to hire the following position in our Structural Truss Systems facility in **Fort Macleod, AB.**

**Role**: Yard Forklift Operator

**Job Type**: Full-time

As a Yard Operator You Will:

- Operate industrial Forklifts to transport materials to and from storage areas, workstations, and within other areas of assignment.
- Assist Manufacturing teams in packing and banding down product safely and efficiently.
- Check work orders and verify correct product is being placed in the appropriate loading areas according to Logistics procedures.
- Operate forklift safely and follow all safety procedures and rules.
- Complete any other work assigned by supervisor/lead hand.
- Deliver material to the production facility.

Our Yard Operators Have:

- At least 1 year of forklift experience in a manufacturing facility (Combi Lift is an asset).
- Safe work mindset and commitment to safety.
- Ability to interpret and accurately fill orders.
- Operate a computer and interact with customers picking up orders.
- Basic math skills and ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in English.
- Team mentality and ability to work well with others.
- Physical capability to perform their job safely (push, pull lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time).
- Capability of working in a manufacturing environment.
