**POSITION**:

- Central Dispatcher**DEPARTMENT**:

- Temporary Full-Time for approximately three (3) months**HOURS**
- Approximately 75.0 Bi-weekly Hours**SHIFTS**:

- Evenings / Weekends- 7.5 Hours per shift-
**WAGE RANGE**:

- Scale Minimum Maximum- CUPE12 $24.10/hr $25.66/hr**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- The incumbent is responsible for the co-ordination of all portering services and local courier requests
- Accountable for accurate recording of all transactions related to these functions
- Demonstrates QCH values: collaboration, accountability, innovation and respect

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Grade 12 education
- At least two (2) years experience in dispatch functions in a computerised environment**:

- Must pass the functional testing relating to the essential physical demands of the job
- Knowledge and ability to resolve problems applicable to the position
- Perform daily tasks within set standards and limitations with mínimal supervision
- Excellent organisational skills & work well in a team setting
- Proficiency in oral and written English
- Good communication skills with pleasant telephone manners
- Sound knowledge of equipment designated for the job
- Knowledge of Inventory System and Meditech software would be an asset
