Client Service Assistant
We are seeking a skilled Client Service Assistant who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of
RESPONSIBILITIES:
FOSTER EXCELLENT CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS
General reception duties including greeting clients in person and on the telephone in a friendly,
business-like manner
Maintain a good rapport with clients and reinforce the company image in all communications
PROVIDE EXCEPTIONAL CLIENT SERVICE TO CLIENTS
Resolve and respond to client concerns and inquiries in a professional and timely manner
Ensure all requests are processed correctly and quickly
Follow up with prospective clients
ENSURE ACCURATE AND TIMELY PROCESSING OF BUSINESS
This includes but is not limited to:
- Investment account set up, deposit and trade processing
- Policy changes processing
- Act as liaison between Head Office, advisors and clients
- Ensure compliant documentation of all transactions
MANAGE A COMPLIANT AND EFFICIENT OFFICE ADMINISTRATION
Maintain a current understanding of the regulatory landscape
Process mail, prepare client correspondence, manage database systems; maintain a proficient
backroom operation
Maintain a compliant records management process for client and business files
Order supplies
Manage day-to-day office operations as assigned
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND MARKETING
Timely preparation of client reviews, reports and presentations
Assist in the design and implementation of business development strategies, communications,
marketing campaigns and events as needed.
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT SUPPORT
General administrative support to the advisor as required
CONTINUED DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING
Participate in ongoing training related to job duties; develop knowledge and skill through sponsored education.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Strong organizational skills
Adaptable to an evolving practice
Attention-to-detail
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Customer service centric
Highly motivated
Previous experience in a financial setting considered an asset.
University degree or college diploma in a finance related discipline would also be considered an asset
Guaranteed minimum of 20 hours a week with a potential to lead to full time.

Part-time hours: 20 per week
**Salary**: $13.35-$16.00 per hour

- Day shift

- Halifax, NS B3M0A5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Customer service: 5 years (preferred)
