Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital is actively seeking applicants for a Cook position. The Cook prepares the meals for patients, team members, customers, family/guests of the hospital.

**Qualifications**:

- Cook Certificate or Red Seal Program certificate (license) preferred
- Current Food Handlers certificate required
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent acceptable to the Hospital.
- Preference given to applicants with institutional cooking experience.
- Able to do heavy lifting, repetitive motions and standing for long periods of time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Established initiative and ability to work independently or as a team in a flexible manner.
- Demonstrated excellent attendance record and work ethic.
- Knowledge of computer software programs.
- Knowledge of and demonstrated commitment to privacy and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis

**Other pertinent conditions**:

- Salary per the UNIFOR collective agreement ($28.27 per hour to $28.74 per hour)
