**Full-time Service Advisor**

Come join the multi award-winning dealership Peterbilt Manitoba Ltd. Service department. We are immediately seeking a Service Advisor for our newly expanded Winnipeg West location.

The Service Advisor is responsible for:

- Advising customers about necessary service for routine maintenance
- Determining automotive problems and services by listening to customer’s description of symptoms, clarifying descriptions of problems
- Conferring with the customers about inspection results; recommend corrective measures and prepare work order for needed repairs
- Preparation of repair orders showing time, cost, and labor estimates for service
- Checking for outstanding recalls or updates on the vehicle
- Invoicing and closing work orders
- Explaining the work performed and the charges to the customer
- Handling customer complaints
- Following all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
- Handling service department filing and records
- Updating client information
- Maintaining positive relationships with customers, other employees, and management
- Always presenting self in professional manner
- Other duties as assigned

**Education/ Experience Required**:

- High School Diploma
- Basic Computer knowledge
- Must have an outgoing, friendly personality and exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to handle customer complaints to a satisfactory resolution
- Good organizational ability
- Sales experience promoting services is an asset
- Courses in automotive mechanics are an asset
- Valid driver’s License
- CDK experience is an asset
- Experience working in an automotive or truck dealership service department is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $42,000.00 per year
