**Job Title: Professional Culinary Arts Instructor**

**Who are we looking for?**

We are looking for an experienced, dedicated, and caring Culinary instructor,who is passionate about teaching and adopts a customer-centered approach to working with domestic and international learners. Our future instructors are patient and understanding, and bring a high level of commitment to excellence and integrity in teaching and learning.

**Responsibilities**:

- Commit to inspiring students’ intellectual potential to develop a passion for lifelong learning
- Plan and deliver lectures, labs, and hands-on culinary training sessions to students
- Develop and implement course syllabi, learning objectives, and instructional materials
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration
- Provide regular feedback and support to students to ensure their success in the program
- Assess student performance through written assignments, practical exams, and other evaluation methods
- Work with other instructors and program coordinators to develop and improve the culinary curriculum
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, developments, and best practices to ensure the culinary program remains relevant and current
- Participate in departmental meetings, faculty committees, and other college-related activities as required

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Culinary Arts or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of working experience in a professional kitchen or culinary education setting
- Teaching experience in a post-secondary institution is an asset
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for culinary education and a commitment to student success

Supplemental pay types:
